Explore the rich history, culture, and stories of Swansea. The Tawe Trails app is your guide to uncovering the hidden gems and landmarks that have shaped this unique place.
Developed on behalf of Swansea Council, the Tawe Trails app takes you on a fascinating journey to discover the natural beauty and heritage of Swansea through featured trails and heritage sites on the iOS and Android app.
App users can choose between Welsh and English audio guides. Choose between on screen text and interactive mapping or listen as you walk.
Using GPS, track your journey as you explore the six self-guided trails at Hafod Morfa Copperworks, White Rock, Parc Llewelyn, Clydach Canal, Morriston Park and Lower Swansea Valley.
We had the pleasure of working with AT Creative on the development of the Tawe Trails app for Swansea Council, and the experience was nothing short of excellent. From the very beginning, their team demonstrated professionalism, creativity, and a deep understanding of what was needed to bring the project to life. A special mention goes to Dan, the lead developer, whose dedication and technical expertise really stood out. He was responsive, detail-oriented, and genuinely enthusiastic about creating an app that would be both functional and engaging for users. Dan consistently went above and beyond to ensure the final product not only met our expectations but exceeded them. The Tawe Trails app is beautifully designed, intuitive to use, and packed with features that make exploring Swansea’s rich heritage a seamless and enjoyable experience for both locals and visitors. Thanks to AT Creative’s efforts, the app has been incredibly well-received and is already making a positive impact on how people connect with the local environment and heritage. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend AT Creative to anyone looking for a forward-thinking and reliable software development team. Their combination of technical skill and creative vision is exactly what you want in an app developer.
